The brakes will require replacement much quicker, which can cost hundreds to thousands of dollars depending on the vehicle. However for a couple of hundred dollars every two years, have your service facility perform a brake service. It will avoid annoying brake squeals, save you money, and more importantly keep you and your family safe.
